Simple. Efficient. Human
We’re feeding Chicago families
during these unprecedented times
Simple is good
For almost 20 years we’ve been a project of 3 volunteers who redistribute food from Trader Joe’s to at-risk families across Chicago. Our model is simple:
No fancy trucks, no storage & little waste.
The food we get at 10am is in famies refrigerators by 2pm, and likely on their table later that day.
Help feed
families fresh food
We’re raising $3500 a month for a coordinator,
Together we’ve already raised $1400 a month 🎉

Love Without Agenda
I’ve lived in the Lincoln park neighborhood, in Chicago, for two decades. My charity has fed thousands of people over the years.
The FoodShare has been a long-term passion project for me, but recently we’ve started fundraising to expand a little. We hear so much positive feedback while loading food, so I thought I would see if any of my neighbors wanted to chip in, allowing us say yes to safely accepting more food.
We need 60 friends at $25/month, 30 friends at $50/month , or 15 friends at $100/month.
Will you help us quadruple the food we can distribute?
One of our key volunteers was tragically murdered.
This makes sustainable funding even more critical.
Thanks to everyone who’ve made FoodShare possible over the years!
